Chandigarh, October 27– Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that modern revenue record rooms would be ready by November 15, 2021 at all district headquarters of the state.

Sh. Kaushal was presiding over the review meeting regarding the Swamitva Yojana through video conferencing with the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts of the state.

He said that the work of digitizing the age old revenue records has picked up pace in the state and now soon these records will be easily available at a click of the mouse, whereas earlier it used to take a lot of time to view and trace records.

He also appreciated the Deputy Commissioners for sending relief materials to the flood affected people in Uttarakhand.

He said that the Revenue Department is filled with lakhs of files and papers, some even as old as 1870.  Under this new initiative, important revenue records and documents are being scanned, cataloged and kept in digital boxes in modern record rooms.

In this episode, he said that till date 17,44,89,332 have been uploaded by the department out of total 18,70,38,840 documents which is 97.94 percent.

He said that Panchkula and Charkhi Dadri have uploaded 100 percent images which are 29,88,840 and 21,31,158 respectively.

Similarly, 1,11,98,823 images have been uploaded in Karnal, which is 98.86 percent.  In Hisar, 1,26,55,132 images have been uploaded which is 99.72 percent.  1,02,31,455 images have been uploaded in Bhiwani which is 98.65 percent.  In Yamunanagar, 93,11,851 images have been uploaded which is 98.65 percent.  In Gurugram, 72,28,605 images have been uploaded which is 96.25 percent.  In Palwal, 94,63,812 images have been uploaded which is 98.13 percent.  63,76,032 images have been uploaded in Kaithal which is 96.51 percent.  In Kurukshetra 52,69,947 images have been uploaded which is 98.51 percent.  In Jhajjar 48,98,296 images have been uploaded which is 82.12 percent.

He said that 85,76,651 images have been uploaded in Fatehabad which is 97.94 percent.  In Rohtak, 79,56,272 images have been uploaded which is 97.89 percent.  90,38,693 images have been uploaded in Faridabad which is 98.26 percent.  55,65,385 images have been uploaded in Panipat which is 95.55 percent.  82,10,002 images have been uploaded in Sonipat, which is 99.02 percent.  In Sirsa, 60,35,100 images have been uploaded which is 96.68 percent.  In Ambala, 71,11,683 images have been uploaded which is 99.67 percent.  81,99,373 images have been uploaded in Noah which is 99.51 percent.

Sh. Kaushal informed that 54,05,826 images have been uploaded in Jind which is 99.45 percent.  44,93,441 images have been uploaded in Rewari which is 96.05 percent.  In Mahendragarh 75,28,936 images have been uploaded which is 98.97 percent.  He said that 37,06,851 images have been uploaded in Haryana Civil Secretariat which is 98.51 percent and in Haryana New Secretariat more than 1,09,00,000 lakh images have been uploaded which is 99.75 percent.

He said that these images are being verified by Revenue Verifier.

He said that public information advertisements have been given in the newspapers by the districts to inform the people about getting registered in Lal Dora under the Swamitva Yojana.  He said that claims and objections are also being received from the residents of the village by the district officials regarding the property within the Lal Dora of the village and for the settlement of these claims and objections, Gram Sabhas will also be organized.

He said that 10,45,000 property cards have been made so far.  A portal is being developed to resolve people’s objections and disputes.  In this meeting, the Deputy Commissioners informed about the loss of crops due to rains in the state in the last two days that they are assessing it and its report will be submitted soon.
