Haryana Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that the situation of COVID-19 infection is under control in Haryana. So far, there is no need to impose lockdown.
- Chandigarh, April 20- Haryana Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that the situation of COVID-19 infection is under control in Haryana. So far, there is no need to impose lockdown.
- He gave necessary instruction to the concerned officials while reviewing the arrangements of containing COVID-19 infection in Faridabad. He also gave necessary instructions to the district officials. It is worth mentioning that the State Government has recently deputed the senior officers for monitoring the situation amid COVID-19 pandemic.
- Sh. Kaushal gave these instructions in a meeting held though video conferencing from Chandigarh. Deputy Commissioner Faridabad, Ms. Garima Mittal and other senior officers of the district administration attended this meeting through video conference.
- During this conferencing, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal directed the concerned officials to ensure availability of 30% beds in private and government hospitals for COVID-19 pandemic. He further directed the officials to guide the patients under isolation to follow the necessary health guidelines. He said that about 60 to 70 percent of such patients won’t require hospitalisation.
- Directing the district officials, Sh. Kaushal said that a call center or mobile application should be developed for the convenience of Covid-19 patients in the district. He said that through this application the concerned Deputy Commissioner and CMO can monitor the situation of COVID-19 crises. He said that 100 beds should be arranged in medical colleges for critical patients. Powers should be given to CMOs to assign doctors and para-medical staff in case of any shortage for looking after COVID-19 patients.
- Sh. Kaushal said that 90 per cent of RT PCR tests were being done in Haryana. Testing should be stepped up in the district so that positive cases can be detected at the earliest. He directed the officers to increase contact tracing of patients and keep an eye on the Containment Zones. Vaccination campaign should be stepped up in Faridabad district and immunity booster products of Ayurveda should be distributed among the people.
