Chandigarh, March 23 – Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agrawal said that the Election Commission of India is organizing competitions on the topic ‘Mera Vote, Mera Bhavishya – Ek Vote Ki Shakti’, in which the last date for participation has been extended to March 31, 2022 which was March 15 earlier.
He said that various competitions including quiz, slogan writing, song, video recording and poster designing were started to highlight the talent and creativity of common people and to ensure their participation in democracy. Keeping in mind the enthusiasm of the participants and their registration in these competitions, the Election Commission of India has extended the date of participation till March 31, 2022. These competitions are divided into three categories: Professional, Institutional and Amateur. He also informed that the winners at the national level will be awarded with cash prizes. On the lines of the Election Commission of India, cash prizes will also be given to the participants securing top ranks in these competitions at the state level as well.
The Chief Electoral Officer also told that to participate in the competitions at the national and state level and for more information, visit the website of the Commission http://ecisveep.nic.in/contest in which the detailed guidelines related to the competition, rules, regulations and conditions are given.
