Chandigarh, February 16- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has condoled the demise of renowned musician and singer, Sh. Bappi Lahiri.

The Chief Minister said that it is very sad to hear of the passing away of the famous musician and singer who has left an indelible mark on the hearts of people with his songs and music.  Bappi ji was a special gem of the music world.  His passing is an irreparable loss to the Indian music world.  His music will always live on in our hearts.  May the Lord give peace to the departed soul.

Sh. Bappi Lahiri was undergoing treatment for some time.  He breathed his last at a private hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday at the age of 69.
