Haryana Chief Minister extends congratulations on completion of one-year of corona vaccination campaign in the country

Record 156.59 crore vaccinations administered in one-year

India ranks first in the world in corona vaccination

Chandigarh, January 16- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has congratulated Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi as well as the entire country and the people of the State on the completion of one year of the world’s biggest corona vaccination campaign. In a tweet on Sunday, the Chief Minister wrote that “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, it is due to the efficient leadership and conscientiousness of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi that today India has successfully completed one year of the world’s largest corona vaccination campaign. I extend my congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen on the anniversary of this great campaign.

The Chief Minister said that the vaccination campaign had started in India on January 16, 2021 under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. India now ranks first in the world in this campaign. Till now, 156.59 crore total vaccinations have been administered in the country. Along with this, the vaccination campaign in India has been carried out at a faster pace than other countries.

The Chief Minister said that we have made many records in this vaccination campaign. Globally, India had the highest number of vaccinated citizens on the first day of vaccination. Besides this, on September 17, 2021, the highest vaccination was done in a single day with 2.5 crore doses. Under the fastest vaccination campaign, more than 156 crore doses of vaccines were administered in a year. This has been possible due to the visionary thinking of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister said that the vaccination campaign is being run at a fast pace in the state as well. So far, 2,12,03,919 (2.12 crore) beneficiaries have been given the first dose and 1,58,33,825 (1.58 crore) beneficiaries have been given the second dose. At the same time, the first dose of vaccine has been administered to 7,82,050 (7.82 lakh) children falling in the age group of 15 to 18 years. Along with this, booster doses have also been administered to about 56,000 beneficiaries. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal called upon all the citizens of the state to get both doses of the vaccine administered. He said that we all have to defeat this disease by adhering to the COVID protocols.
