Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has directed officers to make concerted efforts to enhance the income of families identified under Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana (MMAPUY).

Next Antyodaya Mela is scheduled to be held between March 2, 2022 to March 17, 2022

Chandigarh, February 4 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has directed officers to make concerted efforts to enhance the income of families identified under Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana (MMAPUY). He also asked them to explain the government schemes to the beneficiaries in detail so as to ensure maximum penetration of these schemes in the identified families.

The Chief Minister gave these directions while conducting the review meeting of Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana (MMAPUY) being held under his chairmanship. The Deputy Commissioners of all districts and officers of various departments also connected through video conference.

The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was apprised that next Antyodaya Mela will be held between March 2, 2022 to March 17, 2022 wherein the officials will counsel and interact with the identified families. He subsequently directed the officers concerned to prepare a schedule for the same. The Chief Minister elaborated that the officers should explain various government schemes to the identified families in detail so that they understand it well and are able to take the benefits of the Schemes. He also directed the officers to ensure that there is minimum rejection of applications received under this Scheme. Also, if the applicant is not eligible for one particular scheme his application should be forwarded to the other departments so that he can be engaged with other welfare schemes.

A detailed presentation was given during the meeting regarding the efforts being made to extend the benefits of the State Schemes to the identified families by all the departments. Along with this the Chief Minister also directly interacted with the bank officers and heard the detailed report and evaluated the performance of each District. He further directed all the officers concerned to expedite the process of identifying more such families and connect them with the welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister was also apprised of the progress of the scheme by various departments regarding received and processed applications.

Among those present in the meeting were Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Development & Panchayats, Sh. Amit Jha, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. T.V.S.N. Prasad, Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department, Sh. Ashok Khemka, Principal Secretary, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, Sh. Vineet Garg, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V Umashankar, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Smt. Ashima Brar and officers from other departments were present.
