Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal heard the grievances of various delegations during Janta Darbar held at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh and gave necessary directions to the officers on the spot for their redressal.

  • Chandigarh July 21- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal heard the grievances of various delegations during Janta Darbar held at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh and gave necessary directions to the officers on the spot for their redressal. The Chief Minister also extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Eid.
  • A delegation of ITI instructors met the Chief Minister during the Janta Darbar and put forth their demand for regular and permanent recruitment, regarding which the Chief Minister immediately gave necessary directions.
  • The delegation of Narnaund Anaj Mandi Association, Hisar placed its demands before the Chief Minister, urging the officials to compensate for the loss of 50 percent wheat. The Chief Minister took strict cognizance of the matter and ordered the Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi to make recovery against the 9 officials with immediate effect and said that half of the loss incurred by the government should be compensated by the guilty officials.
  • During the Janta Durbar, under the leadership of President, Urban Estate Welfare Association, Karnal, Sh. Ashok Dhingra, many problems related to the estate area were placed before the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister ordered the Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran that a special camp should be organized for the people of the area on August 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at Estate Office, Karnal and everyone should be issued OCs on the spot. The same delegation raised the issue of double billing being done by the Municipal Corporation in the construction of roads, about which the Chief Minister ordered an immediate inquiry and asked to submit a report within a month.
  • The newly elected executive team of Haryana Roadways Employees Union demanded several policy decisions regarding the department, regarding which the Chief Minister asked the department to give its comments in writing within seven days.
  • The delegation of Bahadurgarh Footwear apprised the Chief Minister about the problems being faced by the ongoing farmers’ movement, in light of which the Chief Minister ordered DGP, Sh. Manoj Yadava to take up the matter in this regard. Union of Bahadurgarh Modern Industrial Estate apprised the Chief Minister about the slow pace of construction of sewer and roads, in light of which Sh. Manohar Lal ordered Managing Director, HSIIDC, Sh. Anurag Agarwal to start construction from Monday itself.
  • Several industry associations raised the issue of delay in getting fire NOCs, on which the Chief Minister ordered the officers of the Urban Local Bodies Department to immediately investigate and take strict action against the guilty officials.
  • The delegation of Ayurvedic Medical Officers also placed their demands before the Chief Minister who ordered to do away with the mandatory CCH test for the NHM personnel in the future and asked the Department to pay an honorarium of Rs 15,000 per month to the existing employees so that they can give the CCH test through Indira Gandhi National Open University so that no employee is fired during the CHC test.
  • Veterinary and Livestock Development Assistant Association thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling the demands placed in the last Janata Darbar and demanded to make Science in Class XII mandatory for those opting for Veterinary and Livestock Development Assistant course.
  • Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, Principal Secretary, Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, Sh. AK Singh, Principal Secretary, Transport Department Sh. Shatrujeet Kapur, among other senior officers were present during the Janta Darbar.
