Retired IAS, Sh. Satyavir Singh also took oath as State Information Commissioner
Chandigarh, March 25 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal on Friday administered oath of office and allegiance to retired IAS, Sh. Vijai Vardhan as State Chief Information Commissioner and retired IAS Sh. Satyavir Singh Phulia as State Information Commissioner. Both the retired IAS officers took oath in Hindi in a programme organised at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh.
The Governor had appointed retired IAS, Sh. Vijai Vardhan as State Chief Information Commissioner and retired IAS, Sh. Satyavir Singh Phulia as State Information Commissioner on the recommendation of the committee under sub-section 3 of Section 15 of the Right to Information Act 2005.
Power Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh, Agriculture Minister, Sh. Jai Prakash Dalal were present on this occasion. Along with them, Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D.S. Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretaries, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Dr. Sumita Misra, Smt. G. Anupama, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sh. V. Umashankar, Principal Secretary, Sh. Vijyendra Kumar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal and many senior officers and the family members of the officers swearing in were present.
