Recruitment to posts of Group C and D will be done soon in the state
Chandigarh, February 8- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha will begin from March 2, 2022. A letter will be sent to the Haryana Governor and Vidhan Sabha Speaker in this regard. The duration of the session will be decided in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. The Chief Minister was addressing the Cabinet Briefing after the first meeting of Haryana Cabinet held in 2022.
During this, the Chief Minister informed that 28 Agendas were tabled in the Cabinet Meeting. Among these, a loan of Rs 8.92 crore was sanctioned to Shahabad Sugar Mills for setting up 60 KLPD ethanol plant. Along with this, the proposal to amend the Punjab Distillery Rules, 1932 has been approved. Under this, now flow meters will be installed in all the distilleries of the state, so that the liquor and spirits being made in them will be measured and will be continuously monitored by the government. On the lines of the Central Government, the Haryana Government has also decided to repeal 20 Acts that have become useless on the recommendation of the Law Commission.
Group C and D recruitment soon
The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that soon recruitment will be done on Group C and D posts in the state. All departments have been asked to send demand for Group C and D posts by February 11. After this, after informing the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, the advertisement of the recruitment will be published and the portal will be opened for the Common Entrance Test. So far 8 lakh registrations have been done on this portal. Soon after completing this process, the tests will be conducted and recruitments will be done. There will be one test for Group D while there will be two tests for Group C recruitment.
Nambardars who have completed 65 years of age will have medical checkup
Responding to a question, Sh. Manohar Lal said that there will be a medical checkup of the nambardars who have completed 65 years of age. Whoever is found fit in this medical checkup, their services will be continued, otherwise they will be discharged. Apart from this, the system of Sarbra in Nambardari will also be abolished.
Old age pension will start automatically on completion of 60 years of age
The Chief Minister said that the Old Age Pension for the month of December has been deposited in the accounts on February 7, while the pension for the month of January is being deposited on February 8. Pension is being linked with Parivar Pehchan Patra. Eligible persons will not face any problem in future. Apart from this, whoever will complete the age of 60 years and is eligible, then his pension will start automatically.
Bill passed in cabinet to stop religious conversion
Sh. Manohar Lal said that there is no bar on anyone who marries without converting, but if someone forcibly converts someone in the greed of money, then strictest action will be taken against them. In this regard, the cabinet has approved the Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion Bill 2022. Recently, cases of forced conversion were reported in Yamunanagar, Mewat, Gurugram and Panipat districts. This bill has been approved only to stop them.
Chief Minister will go to campaign in Punjab, UP and Uttarakhand
Responding to a question regarding the Assembly Elections of 5 States, the Chief Minister said that the party has also delegated him duties in the election campaign. Sh. Manohar Lal, recently, went to campaign in Uttarakhand for a day. Now in the coming days, he will go for campaigning in Uttar Pradesh for 4 days, 2 days in Punjab and 1 day in Uttarakhand. BJP is going to form government in all the states, the Chief Minister said.
Will fight in Supreme Court for reservation of 75 percent jobs in private sector
The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government would fight vigorously in the matter of securing reservation to the residents of Haryana for 75 percent jobs in the private sector. Appeal has been filed in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The hearing will be held on February 11.

It was the first cabinet meeting of the new cabinet members Sh. Devender Singh Babli and Sh. Kamal Gupta, so the Chief Minister welcomed them.
Tribute paid to Lata Mangeshkar
Before the start of the cabinet meeting, two minutes silence was observed on the death of Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar and everyone prayed for her spiritual peace.
