Chandigarh February 10 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) should explore the options of providing quality education at low cost to the children of the state so that education can be made available till the grassroot level. Apart from this, Chief Minister invited their suggestions for providing better basic infrastructure in schools.

Sh. Manohar Lal was reviewing the welfare schemes being run in the state along with senior officers of various departments and CMGGA here today.

He directed the officers of the Education Department to issue a notification regarding fixation of seats and fees for the students, apart from arranging adequate number of teachers in the primary and senior secondary Model Sanskriti Schools. He said that the “Super 100 programme” is running very effectively. Through this youth have got admission in NEET, IIT. Along with the expansion of this programme, he also gave necessary directions for running “Buniyaad Programme” so that more and more students can get admission in technical institutions.

The Chief Minister said that special attention has been paid to essential facilities in 4,000 play schools to be opened in the state. Anganwadi workers have been trained to run play schools. Six types of services like supplementary nutrition, elementary school education, vaccination, etc. are being provided in Anganwadi centres and play schools.

The Chief Minister said that under Meri Fasal Mera Byora Yojana, registration facility should be made available free of cost in 114 offices of Marketing Board as well as 142 offices located at block level to ensure registration of agricultural land in the state. Apart from this, ensure to compensate the farmers who have registered through CSC.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Antyodaya Mela of the second phase of Mukhyamantri Parivar Utthan Yojana would be started from March 2. In these fairs, audio and video recordings of 54 different schemes should be played on the helpdesk so that the beneficiaries can get complete information. Apart from this, all the information and options regarding loan, self-employment and training etc. should be given to the beneficiaries during the counseling. He said that counters of private companies should also be set up in the melas to provide employment opportunities to the youth.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates shared that the various flagship schemes being run by the State Government have been divided into four main categories – Employment, Self-Employment, Skill Development and Scholarship. Special teams were formed to reach out to the beneficiaries at the grassroots level. An analysis of all the schemes implemented was carried out in which it was found that in order to ensure wider reach of employment schemes to the actual beneficiaries, a dedicated one-stop ‘Sashakt Yuva’ portal should be developed, on which the information of all the schemes related to employment will be available on the same portal.

In the meeting, the actual status of the government schemes being run for self-employment was also shared. For this also it was suggested to create a portal for Self-employment, on which information about all types of self-employment schemes being run by the Central and State Governments should be available. This will ensure actual tracking of these schemes and monitoring of departments as well.

Chief Minister reviewed in detail schemes like Play School, Model Sanskriti School, Super 100 Programme, Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Utthan Yojana, Meri Fasal Mera Byora, Gram Darshan, and Nagar Darshan, Ease of Living Index, Jan Sahayak App, E-Office, Saral Portal etc.

Amit Jha, Additional Chief Secretary School Education Department, Dr. Mahavir Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, Principal Secretary, Haryana Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Sh. Vineet Garg, Principal Secretary Women & Child Development Department, Smt. G. Anupama, Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Project Director, Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Programme, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Mission Director, Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Utthan Yojana, Sh. Mandeep Brar and other senior officers were present.
