Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that transparency in jobs is the main aim of his government. Complete transparency is being exercised

Chandigarh, November 1 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that transparency in jobs is the main aim of his government. Complete transparency is being exercised in the recruitments being done by Haryana Staff Selection Commission and Haryana Public Service Commission. He said that the government has provided 83,000 government jobs over a period of 7 years without Parchi-Kharchi.

The Chief Minister was answering questions during a press conference organized on the 56th Haryana Diwas on Monday.

Interacting with the mediapersons, he said that people were appreciating the transparency brought about in the recruitment process. The latest example of this is the recruitment of women sub-inspectors in Haryana Police, in which 58 out of 64 girls were selected from poor families and no one from their family was a government employee. They were selected on the basis of merit. Along with this, the Chief Minister also gave the example of a woman sub-inspector selected from Mewat district. He said that the selected girl herself called him and informed that she is the first girl from Mewat district who has been recruited as sub inspector and she is from a poor family.

Government strict on cheating and fraud in recruitment

The Chief Minister said that the government is strict with the gangs involved in cheating and fraud in recruitments and exams. Action is being taken against such people continuously. He said that during the tenure of the previous governments, either FIR was not registered against such people, even if it was, it was thrown away. The Chief Minister said that so far our government has registered 42 FIRs on such gangs and arrested the accused. Apart from this, action is also being taken against those issuing fake appointment letters in the name of recruitment in the Vidhan Sabha.

Common entrance test will be held by March

Replying to another question, the Chief Minister said that the Common Entrance Test for Group-C and D is likely to be conducted by March 2022. A letter has been written to the agency conducting it. So far 7.5 lakh youth have registered for this. Whenever a job advertisement will be released, its portal will be opened again for registration, he said.

Will visit 90 assembly constituencies

Responding to a question, the Chief Minister said that in the coming days, he will visit all the 90 assembly constituencies of the state and interact with the people. Due to such Corona pandemic, the tours could not be conducted for some time. Now the programmes for the next two months have been prepared, during which the Chief Minister will visit the people.

Office bearers of market committees will be appointed

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the appointment of office bearers of the market committees would be done before the procurement process of the upcoming Rabi crop. He said that the work of the committees is to establish coordination between farmers and traders in the mandis during the procurement of crops. This time the crop procurement is almost complete. Soon the government will take a decision in this regard. The Chief Minister said that industries should also use CNG and PNG. This will help in reducing pollution. The National Green Tribunal has also issued guidelines in this regard.

The solution will be sought through dialogue

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government is making constant efforts to open the Singhu and Tikri borders which were closed by the farmers. The problem can be solved only through dialogue. Haryana Government has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Home Secretary in this matter. Discussions are underway. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also taken cognizance in this matter. Due to the closure of the border, the people traveling along with the local residents and traders are facing inconvenience. The Chief Minister said that the people blocking the highway should understand the problem and come forward for dialogue.

Police working to curb crime

The Chief Minister said that Haryana Police is doing a better job to check crime. Police patrolling has been increased. 650 new vehicles have also been provided to the police department, through which patrolling is being done continuously.
