Chandigarh October 14: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, the benefits of health services would be made available to the extremely poor families of the state who are suffering from serious health ailments like heart disease in a quick and easily accessible manner. For this, a committee will be constituted at the district level under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said this while interacting with the office bearers of BJP Seva Cell here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that complaints are being received that extremely poor families are facing troubles at the district level while getting treatment for heart ailments and the government is seriously concerned about redressal of all such complaints.
He said that for this a committee of three senior officers would be constituted in the districts. Apart from the Deputy Commissioner, Civil Surgeon and other officers will be included in this Committee. The district office bearers of the BJP service cell will also remain in touch with this Committee so that any person of the state can get help in time, added Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that the grant amount given to poor families for the repair of houses would be made available soon through an online process so that such families could get immediate benefits in case their house is damaged due to any reason.
He said that such families whose annual income in Parivar Pehchan Patra would be up to Rs 1.80 lakh would automatically be provided BPL cards. Along with this, for those people who do not have an age certificate, a medical board will be formed at the district level. Certificates will be issued after verification of age in the board, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that a target has been set to increase the income of two lakh families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh during the next year to Rs 1.80 lakh. He said that emphasis is being laid on the skill development of youth in the state, for which Skill Development University has been established. Under this, skill training is being imparted in about 800 courses. The State Government is working to empower the poorest of the society financially by delivering benefits of Antyodaya family welfare schemes. Along with this, the government and BJP has created a portal on which people who wish to serve the public can get themselves registered. He informed that so far 800 people have registered themselves to become volunteers on this portal.
The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of earlier governments, the meaning of Raj used to be selfishness, looting and corruption, but by changing the meaning of Raj, we have realized service, sacrifice and dedication. With the Antyodaya Mission of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, we have aimed to remove social and economic inequalities so that a simple, comfortable and excellent life can be provided to every person in society.
The office-bearers of the cell addressed the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal with the title of Haryana Ratan and presented him with a photo and book as a token of respect.
On this occasion, State Convener, Service Cell, Sh. Satish Khola, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, Co-Convener, Sh. Pravin Sardana, Sh. Kavinder Rana, Sh. Raman Singh, Sh. Somnath Singh, Sh. Suresh Seni, Sh. Vivek Yadav, Sh. Dalip Awasthi, Sh. Manoj Kumar and a large number of Cell workers and officers were present.
