- Chandigarh August 8- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that young professional associates in Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Programme (CMGGA) will make efforts to improve governance as per the priorities of Haryana Government. Besides this, Good Governance Associates will help the Government to deliver the benefits of welfare policies up to the very last person in the queue in the society which will support and help in connecting them with the mainstream of the society.
- The Chief Minister was addressing the sixth cohort of CMGGA here today.
- Citing Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) as one of the important schemes run by the State government, the Chief Minister said that main target of the State Government is to ensure Rs 10,000 per family monthly income of one lakh poor families under this scheme. In this scheme, 6 Departments including Local Bodies, Labour, Skill Development and Industrial Training, Health and MSME are working jointly. He said that it is the priority of the State Government that every family across the State should get employment and self-employment opportunities by the year 2024 which will bring financial stability in the families of the state. He said that Nuh district in the State needs a positive transformation in the field of education, health and employment as compared to other districts.
- He said that Good Governance Associates should make efforts to implement constructive thoughts for the welfare of the society. He said that overcoming the challenges that prevail while following the right path should be the main focus of life.
- Implementing constructive ideas and making them result oriented should be the basis of life. He said that as per the inspirational ideology of Swami Vivekananda, a person should have courage to rise up against all adversities in life. He expressed the importance of genuineness, discipline and to focus on right utilization of time.
- The Chief Minister said that while playing an important role between the government and the people, Good Governance Associates should perform tasks as per the objectives of the State Government. He said that earlier young associates of previous batch contributed in programmes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, improving of Sex Ratio, CM Window, Saksham Haryana, e-Office, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan etc. In the present batch, Good Governance Associates will prioritise their efforts on schemes like Governance, Security, Health, Education, Meri Fasal Mera Byora, Mera Pani Meri Virasat, Model Sanskriti Schools, Parivar Pehchan Patra, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana etc.
- The Chief Minister said that young professionals will also contribute in the containment of COVID-19. He hoped that the new batch of CMGGA will prove their endurance and strength in this time of pandemic crisis. He said that the people in villages can inform regarding the requirement of their development related works through Gram Darshan Portal and the concerned department will ensure the development work by preparing the feasibility, estimate and budget for the job after getting recommendation of the concerned Sarpanch, BDC, Zilla Parishad, MLA. In this way, in the era of information technology, people will get the benefit of an online system while sitting at home.
- Good Governance Associates also shared their constructive suggestions with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General, Information Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal and Co-Founder of Ashoka University, Sh. Vineet Gupta were also present.
