Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today launched the web portal https://tcpharyana.gov.in/uac to get information about lack in basic amenities in the illegal colonies.
- Chandigarh, February 15– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today launched the web portal https://tcpharyana.gov.in/uac to get information about lack in basic amenities in the illegal colonies. The Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and colony developers can share information regarding the basic amenities which are not there in these illegal colonies.
- This information will facilitate the state government in making policy decisions regarding these colonies and will further assist in rendering basic amenities in these illegal colonies. The Resident Welfare Associations (RWA)/ Colony developers can submit information regarding the deficient basic amenities by March 31, 2021 on the web portal. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Haryana Government is steadfast to provide housing and basic amenities to all. However, still some of these colonies lack basic infrastructure facilities. Those residing in these colonies have invested their hard-earned money to build their houses here without knowing the status of the colonies due to which they have faced Departmental action. Thus, as these colonies are illegal they lack basic amenities.
- During the launch of the portal, the officers of Town and Country Planning Department informed that taking cognizance of these illegal colonies the State has taken strict action against them and a total of 2,183 FIRs were registered by the Police Department and 2,430 demolition drives have been conducted throughout the state.
- On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. D.S. Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Town and Country Planning, Mr. A.K. Singh, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department Dr. Amit Agarwal, Director, Town & Country Planning, Mr. K.M. Pandurang and Chief Town Planner, Mr. N.S. Chauhan etc. were present.
