1250 unauthorized colonies of the state will be made legal, people will get basic facilities- Chief Minister
Chandigarh, February 3– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a public gathering after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating various projects worth Rs. 42.5 crore today said that for the development of Karnal works worth Rs 1524 crore for 85 projects will be done by Smart City Limited.
He further said that of these 85 projects, 42 projects are such in which most of the work has been completed. The rest will be completed by March 31. Apart from this, DPRs of 36 projects have been prepared and 7 projects have been approved.
He said that with the completion of all these projects, the map of Karnal city would be changed. People will get facilities and their standard of living will also improve.
He said that the State Government has started Antyodaya Melas for the upliftment of the poor people. So far, 272 fairs have been organised in the entire state, where 90,000 families have been given the benefit of 55 schemes of various departments.
The Chief Minister said that in the coming few months, 1250 unauthorized colonies of the state would be approved, in which people would get all the basic facilities and benefits of development. He said that since 2014, hundreds of schemes have been formulated and implemented for the development of the state. These schemes have been emulated by other states and even the Prime Minister and the Central Government have mentioned the new projects started in Haryana in the recent budget session.
He said that digitization has been promoted in the state, under this e-shram, online payment to farmers in Meri Fasal-Mera Byora Yojana and registration of industries are included.
Apart from this, poor families have been identified through Parivar Pehchan Patra to strengthen their economic condition as well as providing them loans from banks.
The Chief Minister said that if more projects are needed for the development of Karnal, they will also be implemented.
