- Chandigarh May 5: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while coming down heavily on Congress State President Kumari Selja for indulging in petty politics even in this hour of crisis said that at a time when everyone in the State and the Country is praying for the well being of those fighting the COVID-19 battle, it is really unfortunate to see that how Congress leaders are busy in creating panic in society.
- The Chief Minister, while addressing a digital press conference here today urged the opposition not to spread panic in the society and said, “This is not a time to do politics, we have to stand together to fight this Pandemic and this can only be possible if we remain positive and hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. So people of the State and Political parties should stay united as they fight this Pandemic”.
- “We have to keep spirits high and everyone including the Government, Opposition and media should play a positive role rather than spreading panic, said the Chief Minister while answering to a question regarding the statement given by Haryana Congress president Kumari Selja saying that the State government has failed to tackle this Pandemic.
- Responding to a question regarding violence done by TMC workers in Bengal, the Chief Minister said that such violent incidents are unacceptable. There is no place for such violent acts in our democracy. “I condemn such incidents,” he said.
