Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s dedication has led to the implementation of many schemes related to water management.
- Chandigarh, August 22- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s dedication has led to the implementation of many schemes related to water management. Due to this, the water management of the state has improved and it is getting appreciation at the national level as well. The Irrigation & Water Resources Department, Haryana, being awarded the “Energy Environment Foundation Global Innovation in Water Technology Award 2021” in Platinum Category by Energy and Environment Foundation in Association with Ministry of Jal Shakti Government of India.
- Giving information in this regard, Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Sh. Satbir Kadian said that the Irrigation Department of the state is working continuously under the Chief Minister’s guidance. Along with the launch of various schemes, awareness campaigns are also being run continuously regarding water management. He informed that the lift canal system of the state is getting continuous appreciation and its water management policies are also getting appreciation at the national level. Sh. Kadian informed that now Haryana has got the Platinum Category Award by Energy and Environment Foundation. Union Jal Shakti Minister, Sh. Gajendra Shekhawat gave this honour to Haryana during a virtual programme organized on Sunday. He said that Haryana has got this award due to its effective implementation of excellent schemes of water management. He said that this honour will motivate the department to do better and work towards fulfilling the dream of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal regarding water management.
