Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s visit to Rohtak postponed due to national mourning
Government declares two days of national mourning on the death of Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar
Chandigarh, February 6- Rohtak Deputy Commissioner, Captain Manoj Kumar has informed that due to the national mourning, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s two-day visit to Rohtak has been postponed. He said that on the death of Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar, the Central Government has declared two days of national mourning. Due to this, the Chief Minister’s visit to Rohtak has been postponed. He said that the national flag would remain at half-mast for two days to pay respect to late Lata Mangeshkar.
Captain Manoj Kumar informed that during the two-day visit to Rohtak, Sh. Manohar Lal was to lay the foundation stone for the reconstruction of shops located on Hisar Road and Old Sabzi Mandi Road on February 6. Along with this, the Maharaja Agrasen Community Centre in Sector 21 was also to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. Whereas on February 7, Sh. Manohar Lal was to attend the state level science exhibition programme organized at Pandit Nekiram Sharma Government College as the chief guest. He said that at present the Chief Minister’s programme has been postponed due to national mourning and a new date for his Rohtak visit will be issued soon.
