Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala announced that nambardars of the state and their family members would be given the benefit under ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme

Chandigarh, October 19 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala announced that nambardars of the state and their family members would be given the benefit under ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme, under which cashless treatment of up to Rs. 5 lakh per year would be provided.

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, gave this information post the meeting with officers of the Department here today. Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, CEO, Ayushman Bharat Health Haryana Protection Authority, Smt. Amneet P. Kumar, OSD to Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Kamlesh Bhadoo and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed after the meeting that free Ayushman cards would be issued to the nambardars of the State and their family members, these cards would be made in the Common Service Centres and empaneled hospitals in the State. He informed that 612 hospitals are empanelled under Ayushman Bharat scheme in the State, which includes 436 private and 176 public hospitals.

He informed that there are about 20,000 nambardars in the State, whose families will get the benefit of the said scheme of the Central Government. He said that if any member of the nambardar’s family has forgotten to carry his Ayushman card with him at the time of admission in the hospital, even then the treatment will be started immediately after verification through biometric. He said that after being discharged under this scheme, a message will come on the patient’s mobile number regarding the expenditure during his treatment not only that, feedback will also be taken from the patient regarding their treatment.
