Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that it is the endeavor of the State Government to make Haryana a leader in the field of manufacturing of ‘Electronic Vehicles’ across the country, for this a special cluster should be prepared.

  • Chandigarh, June 16- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that it is the endeavor of the State Government to make Haryana a leader in the field of manufacturing of ‘Electronic Vehicles’ across the country, for this a special cluster should be prepared.
  • The Deputy Chief Minister gave this information after an extensive discussion with the representatives of automobile manufacturers through video conferencing regarding the formulation of ‘e-vehicle policy’ here today. On this occasion, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Director General, Industries & Commerce Department, Sh. Saket Kumar, Transport Commissioner, Sh. Amitabh Dhillon and many senior officers were also present.
  • In the presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hero Corporate Services Limited, JBM Group, Minda Group, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Limited, Amara Raja Group, Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited, Ather Energy, M/s Escort Limited, NASSCOM, FICCI, ASSOCHAM and other representatives of various eminent companies and organizations, including Ruchi Green Earth, praised the draft of ‘e-vehicle policy’ prepared by the Haryana Government and said that it is a attractive policy that allows the state of Haryana to develop ‘e-vehicle’ manufacturing sector like automobile and Haryana will again prove to be a leader in the same sector. These representatives also submitted their suggestion.
  • Sh. Dushyant Chautala, said that the suggestions given by the representatives of the said companies are important for the proposed ‘e-vehicle policy’ of the state government and he added that the above suggestions would be discussed while finalizing this policy.
  • He said that the State Government is of the view that more and more ‘e-vehicles’ should be used in the Government Departments of the state including big and small secretariats in other cities as well as in big cities like Chandigarh, Panchkula, Gurugram and Faridabad. E-charging stations should be set up. He said that the e-tractor can be also used in the field like horticulture for which possibilities will be explored in future.
