- Chandigarh, July 1- Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), Sh. Manoj Yadava called upon the newly inducted constables to dedicatedly discharge their duties as their responsibility towards the society and in the interest of the nation increases after becoming a part of the police force.
- Speaking at the passing-out parade of the 89th batch of the Recruit Basic Course (RBC) at Haryana Police Academy (HPA) in Madhuban, the DGP described the public service as paramount and added that one should put extra efforts to ensure justice while serving the mankind.
- Of the 280 recruits of this batch – 219 male and 61 female – took the oath in the colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. The DGP also honored Constable Geeta Rani, Constable Monika and Constable Sangeeta for securing first, second and third positions in training respectively.
- On this occasion, he also praised the officers and employees of both the institutes including the Academy Director Dr CS Rao and ADGP PTC Sunaria Sh.Sandeep Khirwar for good training even in the adverse circumstances posed by pandemic.
- Earlier, Academy Director, Dr CS Rao welcomed the chief guest and informed that training of 61 female constables at HPA Madhuban, Karnal and 219 male constables at PTC Sunaria, Rohtak commenced on August 1, 2020. Of these, 31 are post graduates, 1 holds professional post graduate degree, 135 graduates, 37 professional graduates, 8 diploma holders, 64 twelfth pass while 4 are matric.
- On this occasion, DGP Crime, Mohd. Akil, Managing Director, Haryana Police Housing Corporation, Dr. RC Mishra, ADGP (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh Virk, ADGP (HQ) Kala Ramachandran, Rohtak Range and PTC Sunaria ADGP Sandeep Khirwar, Karnal Range IGP Mamta Singh, Ambala Range IGP Bharti Arora, Haryana Armed Police IGP Hardeep Singh Doon, SCB Gurugram IGP Dr Rajshree, Hisar Range IGP Rakesh Arya, Academy DIG Dr Arun Singh, Superintendents of Police from various units, dignitaries and relatives of trainees were also present.
