Haryana Fisheries Department has invited applications from persons seeking subsidy under ‘Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana’ to set up Re-circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS) and Biofloc Units by February 20, 2021.
- Chandigarh, February 17– Haryana Fisheries Department has invited applications from persons seeking subsidy under ‘Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana’ to set up Re-circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS) and Biofloc Units by February 20, 2021.
- Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that interested persons of the state, who own a land or have a registered lease for at least 10 years, can apply. The spokesperson further added that as per the guidelines of the Government of India, the total cost of construction of Re-circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS) and Biofloc Unit is Rs 50 lakh and the applicants from General Category will be given a subsidy of 40 per cent while women, scheduled caste/schedule tribe, and cooperative societies will be given a subsidy of 60 per cent. The remaining amount will have to be borne by the applicant himself or by taking bank loan.
