Haryana Government has drafted new rules further to amend the Haryana Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 2016. These rules may be called the Haryana Civil Services (Leave) Amendment Rules, 2021. 

  • Chandigarh, July 13: Haryana Government has drafted new rules further to amend the Haryana Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 2016. These rules may be called the Haryana Civil Services (Leave) Amendment Rules, 2021.  They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
  • Sharing more details in this regard a spokesperson of the Finance department said that  according to new rules 24 months for the purpose of higher studies/training to be certified by Government in public interest provided the Government employee concerned has completed three years continuous service before the commencement of such leave.
  • The condition of three years’ continuous service shall not be applicable to those employees who are already pursuing higher studies before joining Haryana Government service provided the same should be in public interest.
  • Furthermore in the said rules, clause (ii) of sub-rule 3 of Rule 50 has been deleted and clause (iv) has been inserted and rule 57, 58 and 59 are deleted.
