Action taken on a complaint received by the Health Minister

Sh. Vij said that he had received a complaint from one person, namely Tarun Chopra, about M/s Metro Heart Institute with Multispecialty Blood Centre. He directed State Drugs Controller, Sh. Manmohan Taneja requested Deputy Drugs Controller (India), Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (North Zone), Ghaziabad to depute one of his officers for joint inspection. After this the team of Deputy Drug Controller (India), Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (North Zone), Ghaziabad conducted a joint inspection at the Blood Centre on December 21, 2021 in which the then Senior Drugs Control Officer, Faridabad Sh. Rakesh Dhahiya and Drug Inspector, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (North Zone), Sh. Suresh Kalwaniya were present. During the joint inspection, this team has found various deficiencies and irregularities in the Blood Centre.
