Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that in order to provide excellent health facilities to the people in rural areas, about 600 health centres, including primary health centres, of the state will be connected to the e-Upchar system.
- Chandigarh, February 19: Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that in order to provide excellent health facilities to the people in rural areas, about 600 health centres, including primary health centres, of the state will be connected to the e-Upchar system.
- In the review meeting of the concerned department today, the Health Minister directed the concerned officers to soon develop a mobile app to help connect with this system, so that any person can take a doctor’s appointment while sitting at home. He said that along with this, it should be ensured that the test reports of patients are sent online or through SMS. Apart from this, records of medicines and tests advised to patients by the doctor should also be made available online, he added.
- Mr. Vij said that at present, the facility of e-Upchar is available in 56 health centres of the state including 22 district hospitals, eight sub-district hospitals, 11 community health centres, 10 primary health centres, one AYUSH medical college and three medical colleges.
