Chandigarh, January 4– Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that now all children falling in the age group of 15 years to 18 years will be administered COVID vaccine by teams of Health Department by visiting schools. He said that we want to achieve this target before January 10.

Sh. Vij was interacting with mediapersons here today.

Sh. Vij said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the children and parents with regard to vaccination. On the first day of vaccination i.e. on January 3, about 55,000 children were vaccinated and so far 96,000 children have been vaccinated.  He said that by late evening the number will increase further.

Haryana has administered first dose to 98 percent beneficiaries while the second dose to 72 percent beneficiaries – Sh. Vij

The Health Minister said that in Haryana, 98 percent of the first dose has been administered to beneficiaries while the second dose has been administered to 72 percent beneficiaries. He said that the new rules regarding COVID-Omicron are being implemented and complete arrangements have been made in this regard.
