Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs. Sh. Sandeep Singh said that Paralympic and Para Athletic players will also be given incentives and jobs by the State Government just like those in the general category are given.
- Chandigarh March 9: Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs. Sh. Sandeep Singh said that Paralympic and Para Athletic players will also be given incentives and jobs by the State Government just like those in the general category are given. To encourage these players, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has again changed the sports policy. This will benefit the players a lot.
- He said that as per the announcement, the policies made for sports will now apply equally to Paralympics and Para Athletics and they will get all the facilities that the general category players get.
- Sports Minister thanked the Chief Minister for the change in sports policy and said that on February 24, 2021, Paralympic and Para Athletic players had demanded the same benefits as the general category under the sports policy. The Chief Minister encouraged the players by accepting this demand immediately. The sports policy of the state has been changed once again, in view of this demand.
- He said that now Paralympic and Para Athletic players have also been placed in the general category and after winning medals in competitions like Olympics, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games, these players will be given first class jobs on the lines of general category.
