Chandigarh, December 2 – Haryana New and Renewable Energy Department and HAREDA have invited applications for State Energy Conservation Awards from eligible consumers of various categories for the year 2020-21. Applications can be submitted by December 23, 2021 to the New and Renewable Energy Department located in the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sadan.
Giving information regarding this, an official spokesperson said that the State Energy Conservation Award is given to institutions doing excellent work in the field of energy conservation by industrial, commercial, government, institutional, group residential buildings and making proper use of technology and energy efficiency. In addition, these include new promotional projects in innovation or new technologies or R&D projects. Institutions doing best in research and innovation in energy conservation, energy efficiency, waste to energy and renewable energy sectors, efficient natural resource management can also apply for the State Energy Conservation Award.
The spokesperson said that in these awards, the winning institution is honoured with cash amount, shield and certificate. He said that for information related to the guidelines under this scheme, login can be done on the website of HAREDA www.hareda.gov.in. Apart from this, the New and Renewable Energy Department at Vikas Sadan can also be contacted during any working day.
