Haryana Police honoured with ‘President’s Colour’ award
Chandigarh, 17 Jan: Haryana Police has been honoured with the Award of President of India’s Police Colour for its flag and formation sign, as notified by MHA.
It shall encourage Haryana Police to work with great motivation and dedication in future.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal and Home Minister, Sh Anil Vij also congratulated Haryana Police on this achievement.
Haryana Police owes this reward to its personnel, who have worked tirelessly over the years to make it credible, professional and people-friendly, added the DGP Haryana Sh. P.K Agrawal.
About Haryana Police Flag
The awarded Flag of Haryana Police features Red colour in the top half horizontal part and navy blue in the bottom half horizontal part. In the middle of the flag is the emblem of Haryana Police in bright golden colour having ह.पु. in the centre flanked by olive branches and Ashoka emblem atop. Red and blue colours are the Police colours. The contrasting colour scheme makes the flag eye-catching, easy to be recognized and remembered by the general public.
About Haryana Police Formation Sign
The four-cornered red-blue formation sign has the Haryana Police logo in bright golden colour. The middle part has ह.पु. flanked by olive branches with the Ashoka emblem at the top and सेवा सुरक्षा सहयोग at the bottom of the formation sign.
