Chandigarh, January 20- Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram (HARERA) today announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Jupitice Justice Technologies Pvt Ltd for complete digitization of grievance redressal system of Gurugram RERA. Under this partnership, Haryana will be a pioneer in creating the first digital HARERA Court, which will facilitate all stakeholders to execute end-to-end dispute resolution mechanism online from the comfort of their homes or offices. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chairman, Gurugram RERA, Sh. KK Khandelwal and Founder and CEO, Jupitice Justice Technologies, Sh. Raman Aggarwal.
Under the terms of the MoU, Jupitice will design an exclusive digital HARERA court for HARERA along with other technical expertise to facilitate dispute resolution, thereby delivering justice in a simple, fast, secure and transparent manner. On the other hand, HARERA will promote this digital HARERA Court and conduct end-to-end proceedings etc. for easy and effective dispute resolution for disputes and other stakeholders involved in the process.
With this platform, end-to-end facility will be provided to the user to conduct entire proceedings under a quasi-judicial mechanism, from filing disputes to adjudication, on a single platform.
Sh. Khandelwal said that the adoption of digital technologies has accelerated in the last few years due to COVID-19. Gurugram RERA also needed a technology that could help us in quick resolution of complaints without risking the lives of the consumers. We found that technology in the form of Jupitice. Jupitice offered us a possible solution in the form of Digital HARERA Courts. I am confident that this Digital RERA Court Gurugram will revolutionize the way complaints are addressed in HARERA and pave the way for other states to adopt such technologies.
Sh. Khandelwal said that this would be beneficial not only for the consumers but also for the RERA officers. Now, consumers need not visit RERA office for their case proceedings, they can get their disputes resolved easily from anywhere, anytime and from any device.
Sh. Raman Aggarwal, said that together, both HARERA and Jupitice have created a wonderful synergy that is capable of resolving RERA disputes in a holistic manner. Under this partnership, we have been able to address all the needs of a large number of complainants/disputers coming in the real estate industry. With the help of new-age technologies like AI and Blockchain, we can go deep into all disputes and settle them at very cheap costs.
Sh Aggarwal said that the digital RERA Court will also support AI enabled self-representation, while all the useful documents related to the cases will be fully secured through a blockchain-enabled digital locker.

After a series of meetings with the officers at Gurugram RERA, Jupitice formulated a strategy and strategic plan for Gurugram RERA to leverage the technology developed by Jupitice in proper and effective administration of the RERA law to achieve the goal of speedy dispute redressal.
In addition, Jupitice and Gurugram RERA will soon organize special workshops, seminars, webinars, consultation programs and online Q&A for their members to create awareness about the benefits of justice technology in the quasi-judicial system.
