There is always a possibility of selling the common place, which leads to quarrels – Urban Local Bodies Minister
Chandigarh, August 10 – Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Anil Vij has issued orders to the Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, wherein it was brought to light that all the common places such as parks, roads, community centres, sports grounds etc. of the colonies that have been approved by the government, are yet to be transferred in the name of the government. Thus, necessary action should be taken to ensure that all these properties are in the name of the government immediately. In the orders, Sh. Vij has also written that the records of the above mentioned properties are still in the name of the property dealers in the revenue records, due to which there is a possibility of selling the said lands by the property dealers which is likely to create disputes. It is worth mentioning that Sh. Vij has given this order in writing to the Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, so that people don’t handover their life-long earnings in wrong hands and get cheated. When the colonies are approved, then there is always a possibility of selling such properties.
