- Chandigarh, February 14- Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Deputy Speaker, Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that many people will be unable to take a dip in the water during Kumbh Mela due to COVID-19, thus, the Gayatri family has decided to provide the pious water of Ganga river to 10 lakh houses.
- This information was shared by him while attending the programme organised on the Foundation Day of Gayatri Shaktipeeth and Sanskarashala located on Camry Road, Hisar. He said that serving the humanity is ‘dharma’. The Gayatri family of Hisar has been following this ideology and has been involved in socio-religious work for several years.
- In his address, he said that the Gayatri family has stood by the administration and the society during COVID-19 situation. The Deputy Speaker said that prosperity and sacrifice from Gayatri Mahamantra gives us inspiration to do good work. Sharing his views he said that in order to grow in life, a person should perform ‘Yajna’ and chant the ‘Gayatri Mantra’. On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of the Food Distribution Room to be built at a cost of about Rs 15 lakh. The Deputy Speaker, Mr. Ranbir Gangwa also appreciated the efforts being made by the ‘Har Har Har Gange’, door to door Ganga Campaign being run by the Gayatri family. It is noteworthy that pious water of the Ganga River will also be distributed from Kumbh Mela site in Haridwar to various houses in Hisar. Mukhya Sevadar of Gayatri Parivar Trust, Dr. Mahipal Munjal said that since the year 1915, as a branch of Shantikunj Haridwar, various religious and social programmes are being organised by the branches of Gayatri Parivar Trust.
