Chandigarh, Feb 17– In a major catch, Haryana’s Special Task Force has nabbed a rewarded criminal, carrying a bounty of Rs25,000 from Sonipat district.
Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that about a dozen criminal cases pertaining to murder, attempt to murder, loot, snatching and under Arms Act were unearthed with his arrest. A unit of STF Sonipat had arrested the criminal following a tip-off.
The arrested accused, previously involved in several criminal cases registered in different police stations at Rohtak, Sonipat, and Jhajjar districts- identified as Sushil alias Mithu, a resident of Nijampur Police Station Baroda district Sonipat.
A case has been filed against the accused under the relevant section of the Indian Penal Code. He will be taken into police custody by producing before the court. Further investigation into the case is underway.
