Chandigarh, March 25 – In the chain of 75th Amrit Mahotsav programmes being organised by the State Government, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal will visit Hisar to watch a stage play named ‘Dastan-e-Rohnat’ produced by Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana, based on the brutality witnessed by the people of Rohnat village during British rule. Besides this, the Chief Minister will also give a bonanza of various developmental projects to Hisar. He will also visit the village Mangali the next day.
Giving information in this regard here today, an official spokesperson said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate, Dr. Mangal Sen Agricultural Sciences Museum at Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agricultural University Campus along with Madan Lal Dhingra, Multipurpose Hall, and Combat Hall. Apart from this, he will also inaugurate the newly constructed Sadalpur’s 33 KB Substation.
The spokesperson added that the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the Integrated Complex Observation Home, Special Home, Place of Safety & Child Care Home being constructed at Beed. Along with this, he will also lay the foundation stone of 4,000 units of Electronic Voting Machines and VVPAT Warehouse built-in Mini Secretariat premises and 33-KB sub station being set up at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary Sciences. The next day, the Chief Minister will also visit Gangwa and Mangali villages of the district.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, 2017, the Chief Minister had hoisted the tricolor at the State Level Function organized at Mahavir Stadium and at that time he came to know about the brutality witnessed by the people of Rohnat village of Bhiwani district. On the same day, the Chief Minister had announced the formation of the Rohnat Freedom Trust so that the development of the Rohnat village can be ensured which was neglected in the previous Governments. The result of this announcement of the Chief Minister was that the people of Rohnat village took back their vow of not hoisting the tricolor in the village despite 70 years of the country’s independence. On the occasion of ‘Shaheedi Diwas’ on March 23, 2018, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was specially invited to hoist the tricolor in Rohnat village.
