On the occasion of Constitution Day, Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattaraya greeted the people during a programme organized to mark the occasion at Gurugram.
Chandigarh, November 26– On the occasion of Constitution Day, Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattaraya greeted the people during a programme organized to mark the occasion at Gurugram.
While speaking on the occasion, he said that the Constitution of India should be considered as a Holy Book of democracy and urged every citizen to follow it. He said that following the principles of the constitution will lead to the progress of Indian democracy which would further help the nation to face challenges. He urged all citizens to read the constitution and implement it. This will be a true tribute to Baba Sahib Dr B. R Ambedkar, he added.
He said that the drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly of India under the Chairmanship of Dr B. R Ambedkar prepared the Indian constitution after studying the constitutions of 60 countries.
