Deputy Chief Minister spent two days in Bikaner, Rajasthan, discussing social, political and farmers’ issues
Chandigarh, January 30 – On the second day of his Rajasthan visit, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala reached Nokha village of Bikaner district and inaugurated the Jannayak Library built there. The Deputy Chief Minister said that sufficient books and computers would be made available in this library for the preparation of Rajasthan and Central Government jobs. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister got the library inaugurated through the hands of senior citizen.
During his visit to Bikaner, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala was welcomed by social organizations at many places. Sh. Chautala offered flowers to the statue of Jannayak Chaudhary Devi Lal installed in the village and addressed a public meeting. He said that in the last years, he spent Rs. 2 crore out of his voluntary fund and contributed in building libraries in 40 villages. He further said that in many villages, there is a trend among youth to study in library.
Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala also paid tribute to Bikaner’s Shaheed Chandra Singh Chaudhary. Along with this, when they suddenly came to talk to the youth playing Kabaddi there, the youth shared their experiences. Understanding their needs he announced a grant of Rs. 10 lakh from private funds for the construction of mats and sheds for playing Kabaddi. On coming to know about the need of cremation ground in Nokha village, he immediately directed the local authorities to provide the land for the purpose. He informed that boundary walls, sheds, water tanks etc. have been constructed in every village of Haryana by the government.
Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala also visited the “Karni Mata Mandir” located in Deshnok, Bikaner and offered prayers. He also paid homage to Shri Guru Jambheshwar Maharaj’s holy place ‘Muktidham Mukam’ and wished for peace and prosperity for all.
Earlier on Saturday, the Deputy Chief Minister had participated in the welcome programme of traders, arhtiyas and social organizations at Anaj Mandi in Bikaner and discussed the common efforts for the inclusive development of the farmers of Haryana and Rajasthan.
