  • Chandigarh, June 15- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that Haryana has become the first State in the country where the registered labourers involved in building and other construction works will get the benefit of their schemes on ‘First-In, First-Out’ basis (First application will be prioritised first). The software of ‘Central Processing System’ prepared by ‘Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’ will prove to be a milestone for the welfare of workers.
  • The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the charge of Labour and Employment, was addressing the officers of the Labour Department and the Board post launching the ‘Central Processing System’ of ‘Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’ here today. Haryana Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak was also present on the occasion.
  • Sh. Dushyant Chautala, who is also the Chairman of Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, said that with this ‘Central Processing System’, there will be transparency in the work and it will also help to curb the corruption. He said that this new system is a historic step, he added that Haryana is the first state in the country where online applications will be made for the welfare schemes given to its registered workers. The application of the worker who applies first will be processed first. There will be an automatic equal distribution of work among the officers, the policy of ‘pick and choose’ will be curbed. If any officer does not act on that application for one month, then strict action will be taken against the accused officer if some negligence is found during the investigation.
  • Describing the new system as a positive transformation of the department, the Deputy Chief Minister said that he hoped that the software prepared by ‘Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’ would be followed in the country in the same way as ‘Lal-Dora Mukt Gaon’ campaign has been adopted.
  • Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak said that the vision of Deputy Chief Minister for creating this online system will be in the interest of the labourers.
