Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has directed the officers concerned to ensure that the process of making payment of the premiums paid under   Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana should be implemented in a phased manner.

  • Chandigarh, May 6 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has directed the officers concerned to ensure that the process of making payment of the premiums paid under   Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana should be implemented in a phased manner.
  • The Chief Minister was presiding over the review meeting regarding  Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana held here today.
  • The Chief Minister said that under Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana  premium of various welfare schemes including Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaan Nidhi Yojana,  Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapari Maan-Dhan Yojana,  Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana,  Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana is paid from the amount of Rs.6000 that is given to every family under the Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana.
  • He said that last year, the benefit of this scheme was sent directly to the bank accounts of the eligible families.
  • The Chief Minister said that the State Government is dedicated to ensuring economic upliftment and financial empowerment of every family in the state.
  • Sh. Manohar Lal directed gave necessary directions to the officers concerned to implement these schemes.
  • He said that to get the benefit of these schemes it should be ensured that bank accounts of the families who don’t have accounts should be opened at the earliest.
  • Besides this, the forms of all family members should be filled under the Suraksha Bima Yojana.  The premium of this scheme which is Rs 12 per person per annum and is firstly  paid by the account holder is later  credited to his account by the State Government, said the Chief Minister. Under this scheme, an accident insurance benefit of Rs 2 lakh is given to the beneficiaries between the age of 18 to 70 years, he added.
  • The Chief Minister said that a premium of Rs 330 is to be paid under Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.  He directed that the family head of the eligible families members in the age group of 18 and 50 years should firstly be included in this scheme.
  • The Chief Minister directed that the registration of farmers, labourers and small businessmen who are eligible for pension scheme should be done.
  • After this, if any amount is pending, then the forms of other family members should be filled for the Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
  • The Chief Minister said that even after this, if possible out of the pending amount, the premium of the Fasal Bima Yojana should be paid, otherwise the remaining amount should be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
  • On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. T.V.S.N Prasad, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar and other officers of the Banking and Finance Department were present.
