Shri Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College and Hospital in Gurugram district will be built on the unique new model of Public Private Partnership (PPP), in which the residents of Gurugram will be provided superlative healthcare facilities at affordable cost.

Medical college and hospital will be ready on PPP model
Chandigarh , February 20 – Shri Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College and Hospital in Gurugram district will be built on the unique new model of Public Private Partnership (PPP), in which the residents of Gurugram will be provided superlative healthcare facilities at affordable cost.
The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while presiding over the meeting regarding the hospital with officers concerned today in Gurugram said that this medical college and hospital would be built on a unique model wherein people would get ‘Low Cost Affordable Super Specialty Hospital’ facilities. This medical college and hospital is being constructed in Sector 102. In this, all the modern medical facilities of the super specialty hospital will be made available. He said that target has been set to start the facilities in the hospital in a phased manner and in the first phase OPD facilities will start from September 2023.
Giving a presentation about this medical college and hospital, Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal said that the hospital will be of 650 beds. Besides this, there will also be 30 emergency beds, 40 ICU beds and 50 beds in Trauma Centre. Apart from having a pharmacy, its building will be built according to green building principles.
On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D.S. Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V Umashankar, Public Safety Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Anil Rao and Chief Executive Officer of GMDA, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal were present.
