Chief Minister urges ex-servicemen to render services as volunteers

Chandigarh, October 21 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has called upon all ex-servicemen to contribute towards public welfare schemes of the State Government by rendering their services as volunteers. He asked the ex-servicemen to extensively participate in this by registering themselves on the Samarpan portal.

The Chief Minister was directly interacting with the ex-Servicemen Cell of Haryana BJP at his residence today.  During this, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal was also present.

While interacting directly with the ex-servicemen, the Chief Minister said that the BJP government has ensured that maximum facilities and services are provided to the soldiers. He added that the present government has also ensured that the ex-servicemen get One Rank-One Pension, which was pending for years.  Thus, calling upon the ex-servicemen, the Chief Minister said that firstly they should cooperate with the families of other ex-servicemen, secondly use their positive thoughts and experience for the welfare of the society.  He asked all ex-servicemen to ensure that all welfare schemes of the government reaches the last person in the queue by joining the Samarpan portal.

Diseminnate PM’s message

On Thursday, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi lauded the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal at a programme organized in AIIMS, Jhajjar.  During the interaction with the ex-servicemen, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has appreciated the work of the Haryana Government today. The Chief Minister urged the ex-servicemen to take this message to masses as then people will come forward to cooperate with the government. He said that Haryana government has worked for 7 years to change the system and has given priority to development of the state.
