Chandigarh, February 18: Haryana Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department will organize a state-level Livestock Exhibition from February 25 to 27 at HUDA Ground, Sector-13, Bhiwani. In the exhibition, a competition of best breeds of cows, buffaloes, sheep, goat, camels, horses, and pigs will be organized. Prizes will be given to the animals who will win competition in a total of 53 categories.
Giving information in this regard, a spokesman of the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department said that buses have been arranged by the government to send the livestock owners to the exhibition. These owners can visit the livestock exhibition for free.
He said that the cost of transportation and bringing the best breed animals to this exhibition in the districts would be borne by the Animal Husbandry Department as per the prescribed rates. The department will also make arrangements for food for the livestock owners and animals.
Apart from this, lectures have been arranged by experts for sharing more knowledge about animals among the livestock owners in the animal exhibition.
He said that Haryana Animal Husbandry Minister, Sh. J.P Dalal would inaugurate the state-level exhibition while Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal would attend the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The spokesman appealed to the livestock owners to ensure maximum participation in the state-level exhibition.
The livestock owners who have the best breed animals, can contact their nearest veterinary hospital and get their animals registered. Besides this, the cattle owners who have to attend the exhibition should also get their names registered in their nearest veterinary hospital so that their bus seat can be confirmed.
