Khelo India Youth Games 2021 to be held from June 4 to 13
Chandigarh, May 15- The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Khelo India Promotional Song will work to instill enthusiasm among the young sportspersons coming from different states of the country.
This year, once again the whole world will get to see the power of the players of Haryana through the platform of Khelo India Youth Games Year-2021. The video version will soon be released after the audio version of Khelo India Youth Games Promotional Song. This year Khelo India Youth Games-2021 will be organized in the state from June 4 to 13, 2022. These games will also include 5 Indian sports out of 25 sports Under-18 category and these games will be held in Panchkula, Shahabad, Ambala, Chandigarh and Delhi. Around 8,500 players from across the country will participate in these games.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was interacting with mediapersons during the inaugural session of the Sports Competition at Purushotampura Bagh on Sunday. Earlier, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Sh. Sandeep Singh, Women and Child Development Minister, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, MP, Sh. Naib Singh Saini and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi launched the audio version of the Promotional Song along with the poster of Khelo India Youth Games. The Promotional Song has been composed by artists from Haryana and Bollywood and the song has been written by OSD to Chief Minister, Special Publicity, Sh. Gajender Phogat and Sh. Naveen Lamba. Along with the launch of this song, the team that arrived with Sh. Gajender Phogat also performed through excellent choreography. This Promotional Song has been prepared as per the orders of Sports Minister, Sh. Sandeep Singh and Sports Director, Dr. Pankaj Nain.
The Chief Minister said that a full team of youth officers had been deployed for organizing these games, who will closely monitor every competition venue so that the players do not face any sort of inconvenience. In these games, complete arrangements for cleanliness have been made while taking forward the initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In these games, cultural programmes depicting Haryanvi culture will also be organized and during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the story of the heroes of the freedom struggle and the introduction of excellent players of the state will be exhibited so that the young generation can take inspiration from them. He said that in order to increase the enthusiasm of the students more towards sports, the focus is majorly on the Promotional Song so that students can connect with it. He added that this time Khelo India Youth Games will be organized with innovative ideas so that ‘Haryana’ leaves an indelible impression across the state.
