Haryana government has given option to correct the income recorded in PPP
With the prescribed procedure and papers, you will be able to apply for correction in family income
Chandigarh, February 9- The Haryana Government has given the option to the citizens to make corrections in the income in the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). Citizens who had given incorrect income information due to any reason can now apply for correction in it. For example, if a citizen has mistakenly shown his family income to be high, then he can apply to reduce it. For this, the applicant has to visit the website of the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) https://meraparivar.haryana.gov.in/ and click on the report grievance, after which you will have to give the details of your income following the necessary guidelines. If the applicant wishes, he can also attach the documents related to his claim along with it. This information will be verified by the department. If the information given by the citizen is found to be correct then further action will be taken. Citizens are requested to upload only verified information on the PPP portal.
It is worth noting that due to lack of improvement in the information of family income, many citizens are deprived of the facilities provided by the government. Due to this the government has taken a decision that now any citizen can apply for correction in the details given in the PPP and can take advantage of the schemes of the government. It may be mentioned that PPP identifies each family in Haryana and provides basic family data in digital format with the consent of the family. Each family is provided with an eight-digit family ID. Family ID has been linked to birth, death and marriage records to ensure automatic updation of family data. The government is linking schemes like scholarships, subsidies and pensions with Family ID, to ensure transparency, consistency and credibility, as well as to enable automatic selection of beneficiaries of various schemes, subsidies and pensions and the rightful entitlements so that beneficiaries can get the benefits without delay.
The data available in the Family ID database is used to determine eligibility through which automatic self-selection of beneficiaries is done to receive the benefits. So once the database of families is created, the families need not apply for availing benefits under each of the individual schemes. Further, once the data in the PPP database is authenticated and verified, a beneficiary need not submit any further documents.
