The Haryana Government is very alert to stop the increasing outbreak of corona epidemic. Keeping in view the safety measures and that people should not face any problem, suitable guidelines have been issued by Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam….

Due to the increasing effect of the epidemic, the power corporation tightens its back, instructions are issued to the officials.

·       Guidelines regarding continuous power supply to health centers given to power officers.

·       Release of list of power supply control rooms, power emergency numbers set up in every district.

Chandigarh, January 8– The Haryana Government is very alert to stop the increasing outbreak of corona epidemic. Keeping in view the safety measures and that people should not face any problem, suitable guidelines have been issued by Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam to its officers regarding continuous power supply to Health Institutions.

 

In order to maintain continuity of power supply in district hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHCs), Primary Health Centers (PHCs), Oxygen Manufacturing Industrial Units and other Health Centers of the state, the Nigam has set up Control Rooms at the district level in Panchkula and Rohtak zones. A list of power emergency numbers has been issued. Apart from this, for any problem related to electricity, the department’s toll-free number 1912/18001801550 can be contacted.

Giving the above information, a spokesperson of the Nigam said that in view of the situation of Corona epidemic, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Managing Director P.C. Meena, while giving proper guidelines to the Superintendent Engineers and Executive Engineers to provide 24 Hours Power Supply to Health Institutions in their respective areas. Electricity Control Rooms have been set up in every district to provide and a list of local emergency numbers of the Nigam has been issued, which will be monitored by the designated nodal officers at the circle level. Circle and Divisional Officers will themselves continuously monitor the power supply and any technical fault; no feeder of any hospital shall be switched off without their permission. The officials will share the information regarding the availability of Daily Power Supply through the WhatsApp group so that any emergency situation can be dealt with in time.
