Chandigarh March 23 – The meeting of High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) and Department High Powered Purchase Committee (DHPPC) held under the Chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today approved purchases of goods and items to be procured by various departments upto the limit of Rs. 338.40 crore.

In the meeting, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P. Dalal, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta and Minister of State for Labour & Employment (Independent Charge), Sh. Anoop Dhanak were also present.

The major tenders that were approved in the meeting included supply, erection and commissioning of various Axial Flow VT pumps, electromechanical equipment’s like VT Pumps, Electric Motors, LTDP Panel, Bus passenger seats etc.

Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department, Sh. P.K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Housing for All Department, Sh. Anil Malik, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd., Sh. Mohammed Shayin and several other officers were present in the meeting.
