Chandigarh, November 30 – The purpose of Haryana Right to Service Act is to fulfil the maximum expectations of the common people with regard to rendering of services in a hassle free, transparent and time-bound manner which further facilitates the life of the common person. All the services and schemes of Government Departments focused towards public benefit are provided through online medium by uploading on Antyodaya Saral portal.
Giving information in this regard, Secretary, Haryana Right to Service Commission, Smt. Meenaxee Raj said that today, the Chairman of Commission, Sh. TC Gupta and the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar held a review meeting with the Heads of Departments. It was decided in the meeting that the Head of the Departments should take the comments of the Administrative Secretary and Administrative Reforms Department of the concerned department before sending any proposal to the Commission.
In the meeting, it was discussed to initiate 141 online services under Haryana Right to Service Act 2014 on Antyodaya and Saral portal. It was apprised that the pending services of the Departments should also be notified as soon as possible and the schemes which are not required should be de-notified from the portal.
The review of services rendered by Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Archaeology and Museums, Education, Revenue, Industries & Commerce, Fisheries, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Sports and Youth Affairs, Police, Urban Local Bodies, Social Justice and Empowerment, Tourism Department were discussed in the meeting. The Principal Secretaries, Additional Chief Secretaries and Heads of Departments of all these Departments were present in the meeting.
