To register complaints and take up the old complaints of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, the members of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum will visit various places in February, 2022.

Chandigarh, February 1 – To register complaints and take up the old complaints of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, the members of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum will visit various places in February, 2022.

Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the members of the forum will visit the Operation Circle Kaithal on February 2, Operation Circle Panipat on February 4, Operation Circle Yamunanagar on February 7, Operation Circle Karnal on February 9, Operation Circle Panchkula on February 11, Operation Circle Jhajjar on February 14, Operation Circle Rohtak on February 17, Operation Circle Kurukshetra on February 18, Operation Circle Sonepat on February 21, Operation Circle Ambala on February 23 and Operation Sub-Division, Barwala on February 25 between 11 am to 4 pm. Team members will take up the complaints and also register new complaints. With this, the consumers will be provided the facility of hearing of case at the nearest place.

The spokesperson said that the complaints of the consumers mainly related to billing, voltage, metering, discontinuing the connections, interruption in power supply, lack of efficiency, safety, reliability and non-compliance of orders of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission etc. are included. However, the forum will not hear power theft cases and unauthorized use of electricity, penalties and fine, falling under Section 126 and Sections 135 to 139, and cases pertaining to investigation and accidents falling under Section 161.
