Today, on the occasion of Independence Day, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has started supplying 24 hours power to 44 additional villages of the state.
- Chandigarh, August 15– Today, on the occasion of Independence Day, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has started supplying 24 hours power to 44 additional villages of the state.
- Director/Operations, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Sh. RK Sodha while giving this information after hoisting the flag at Vidyut Sadan on Independence Day, said that out of the total 3600 villages under the corporation, so far 2272 villages have been supplied 24 hours electricity.
- He informed that encouraging results have been received in the state under the Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon Yojana. DHBVN has secured the second position after Gujarat in the list released by the Government of India based on the performance of 41 electricity distribution corporations of the country and the corporation has been included in the category.
- At the function, 52 hardworking officers and employees of DHBVN were given letters of appreciation for their excellent services with devotion to duty and integrity.
