Chandigarh, March 8- Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam is striving for quick solution to the problems of the consumers. Taking strict cognizance of the consumer’s complaint of transformer replacement, the Managing Director of the Nigam, Dr. Saket Kumar, made a surprise inspection of the Sub-Divisional Office, Raipur Rani and ordered the concerned officer to replace the faulty transformer immediately. He inspected the transformer site installed in the consumer’s field and sought explanation from the Executive Engineer and the Sub-Divisional Officer for the delay in replacing the defective transformer and ordered the concerned junior engineer to charge-sheet.

Giving this information, a spokesperson of the Nigam said that during the surprise inspection, Managing Director, Dr. Saket Kumar pulled up the officers and employees for the delay in replacing the faulty transformer and instructed them to replace the transformers within the stipulated time by the corporation. Giving instructions to resolve the pending complaints at the earliest, he said that no laxity would be tolerated in resolving the problems of the consumers. Apart from this, he also visited 66 KV Sub-station Taparia to get information about the load of the area concerned.

He further informed that during this time the Managing Director checked the transformer register and instructed the officers to make transformer banks so that transformers could be used as per the requirement in the stipulated time and farmers/consumers should not face any problem. During this, Chief Engineer/Operations (Panchkula), Sh. RK Khanna, Superintendent Engineer, Sh. H.C. Pant, Executive Engineer (Pinjore)  Sh. Sanjeev Sharma were present.
