Department of Physiology of AIIMS Bilaspur virtually organised Continuing Medical Education (CME) on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day.
During the CME the speakers, Dr. Jyoti, Dr. Nishant and Narendra Paul deliberated about harmful effects and ways for quitting tobacco.
Short films produced by MBBS students of AIIMS Bilaspur, depicting the harmful effects of tobacco and its related disorders were also displayed during the event.
The Executive Director, AIIMS Bilaspur, Dr.Vir Singh Negi said that these films would be used for creating awareness about harmful effects of tobacco consumption. More than 100 faculty members and students participated in this online event.
